The INFINITY5 is a cross-country wing that is sure to take any class climber to the top. The endless flying fun with the legendary INFINITY feeling is entering its 5th generation. During development, everything was based on the premise of an honest low-end B-wing with maximum feel-good factor. In order to translate its character to the spirit of the times, the wing was redesigned from scratch and equipped with all the latest construction features. As a result, the unparalleled good-natured characteristics have been enhanced with plenty of performance.
Innovations
Chief designer Ernst Strobl optimized the aspect ratio in several steps. The enormous good-naturedness of the wing concept allowed a tightening and thus the high increase in performance. The INFINITY5 is equipped with a Sharknose (SNP), which provides more stability at higher speeds. The 3D Shaping (3DS) gives the leading edge a dynamic tension and, in combination with the Precision Profile Nose (PPN), increases the profile fidelity in the leading edge area. Elaborate calculations of the wing pre-tensioning and precise ballooning help the profile to achieve perfect airflow. The High Pressure Crossport Design (HPCD) optimizes the cross-ventilation of the crossports and creates a balanced internal pressure of the wing. Miniribs (MRB) on the trailing edge of the wing ensure that the profile retains its shape and optimize the aerodynamics during control impulses. The line setup is kept very clear with three main lines. The line levels are color-coded, which is a great help when sorting and in flight.
High Pressure Crossport Design

Das Precision Profile Nose-System sorgt mit Kunststoff-Verstärkungen in den Vernähungen für die Stabilität der Profilnase und optimiert damit die Strömung entlang der gesamten Eintrittsöffnung.
3D Shape
Das 3D Shaping sorgt für die gezielte Kontrolle der Spannung des Flügels und somit für ein optimiertes Ballooning und eine faltenfreie Konturführung.
Material
The material mix focuses on maximum durability. The top materials Dokdo 30 and Dokdo 20 ensure both low weight and high abrasion resistance. The material mix ensures high long-term durability and optimizes shape retention in the long term, especially for tough use in training operations. A straightforward line concept with few main lines ensures easy handling and a good overview during ground handling.
